The

Babies Dental

Home

The Kids Dental Practice provides a ‘parent and me program’ that gives your infant or toddler the experience and opportunity to gradually acclimate to their dental home.

The thought of your child’s first dental visit can be intimidating for both you and your child.  But research has shown that early establishment of a dental home has the potential to provide more effective and less costly dental care in the future. A dental home is an ongoing relationship between a patient, family members and a dentist that should be established at the time of the eruption of the first tooth and no later than 12 months of age.

Parent & Me

The Kids Dental Practice provides a ‘parent and me program’ that gives your infant or toddler the experience and opportunity to gradually acclimate to their dental home. Dr. Capra has focused her efforts in creating an appropriate environment for infants, babies, and toddlers inside the dental office where they will thrive and get used to the dental setting before sitting in the dental chair.

The Kids Dental Practice has a designated cozy baby room that was created to make your child feel more comfortable and safe. In these early years we help identify any problems in development, as well as help educate parents on how to best prevent tooth decay. Dr. Capra believes that the parent(s) needs to be involved in their child’s oral health in order to establish a strong foundation for a healthy oral cavity. Your baby’s first visit is the first step into a relationship throughout adolescence where we will all be involved in assuring that the best oral health conditions are met. We’ve created a soothing environment in which both of you will feel relaxed. Watch the video we made for you below.
